PLUG: Amiresque

Hey everyone!

Amir, from the blog Amiresque, and I have just started a new series called “A Good Year” in which we discuss a year in which a particular cinematic trend was prevalent - be it a strong slew of films from one director, several great performances from a single actor, or the revival of a genre. In our first episode we’re talking about the recent year 2007, and the Western revival that took place with the films “No Country for Old Men”, “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”, and “3:10 to Yuma”. Come check it out!

Happy blogging,
Robert

Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don’t get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) - I’ll handle the rest.
