Hey LAMBS!

Angie and Chantale of CinemaObsessed.com here with a request! As some of you fellow Cin-Obs may know, we change our logo/header/caricature on a monthly basis. We’ve been Disney princesses, Star Wars peeps, Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice, etc etc you get the idea! And… well… the next one is up to you!

So we’re asking you to submit ideas!

Just go here and submit your idea in the comments! If you like one that’s already been suggested, just second it! We’ll be collecting your ideas until mid September, so there’s time to think up a goodie!

Whichever idea wins will be sent to our friends at DimpleArt for the royal treatment!

Not only will there be major link-lovin’ for the winner, but there will be a $20 gift certificate to The Cin-Ob Store!

LAMB Leaderboard updated for July!

Everything’s coming up Cin-Ob! They’re on the radio, they were a Blogger Blog of Note recently, and now they’re atop the LAMB Leaderboard, surely the most prestigious of them all.

Again this month, four new/returning entrants to board, two of which have yet to even have their profiles posted - impressive! Leading the way is Less Than Three Film, charting at #11. Some bad news, though, as a healthy 30% of the board is inhabited by generic LAMB banners, however, with two brand spanking new sites, that’s somewhat to be expected.. The goal is a generic banner-free board. One day…

Speaking of LAMB Banners, seven new ones added to the Gallery/random banner widget - awesome! The new ones hanging proudly are for: Raro VHS, Temple of Reviews, ProMovieBlogger, The Best Picture Project, The Rest is Cream Cheese, The Horror Digest, and DarkRealmFox..

We’d like to plug our newest game, it’s called TAGLINES: Take Two!

We offer our readers a movie poster and ask them to create their own tagline for it! It gives our readers a chance to be creative. This bi-weekly game involves 1 week of submissions (in the comments) followed by one week of voting in a poll. The winner gets their tagline entered into our Tagline Hall of Fame (which includes a permanent link to their blog). The winner and new assigment is posted every other Monday morning! What is the main focus of your site?
Movies movies movies! It’s all we talk about!

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
We are trying to unite others who share a love of movies like we do. We want people to open their eyes and minds and start enjoying more types of films. We’re not critics, because we like everything, and we want others to stop being snobs and just enjoy the flick! Professionally speaking, we are always looking for advertisers.

Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
We want an interactive environment all the way. We want to know what everyone thinks about everything! We post some interesting material that others might not have known about, but we’re definitely not teachers.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
We post 7 items a day, and have been doing so since June 2009.
