Franz tells his friend Arthur, a swarthy guy whose shady uncle is pressing him for money. Arthur and Franz, who mimic American movie tough guys, case Odile’s house, pressure her to assist them with a burglary, and make passes at her as well. She’s alternately compliant and distressed. Weekly (at least) movie discussions focusing on plot, character technique and themes.

The intention is to record the conversations with eloquent people passionate about films, instead of fully structuring the conversations we, riff on themes and our personal lives.

We are definitely a community, I try to foment an active participation from the audience, and many of our fans have ended up as guests of the show.
