I’m going to the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors this weekend in New York City. I’ll be streaming live video from the show, setting up a chat room during the horror movie panels (guests include Guilermo Del Toro and Dario Argento) and generally raising hell at the show.

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
I publish movie news and interviews, with a particular emphasis on things happening in the fledgling Connecticut film industry.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
I’m make a living as a City Hall reporter for the newspaper that houses my blog. I’m hoping to provide a forum for filmmakers — specifically indie filmmakers in Connecticut — a place to share news and spread the word about their projects.
Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
Interactive community. The great thing about blogging is what you learn from people just stopping by.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
I’ve been blogging for three years. This particular blog has been around for two months. I post updates everyday, sometimes as many as four posts a day.
